Behavioural Solutions for Depression: A Masterclass

Depression is one of the leading causes of disability and is often a co-morbid condition with pain, sleep and other issues. This course is for psychologists, counsellors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, kinesiologist and any other healthcare pro who is eager to bolster their expertise in depression management using BA. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner seeking to refine your therapeutic approach or a novice clinician aiming to build foundational skills, this course offers valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your clinical practice.

Upon completion of this course, participants will emerge equipped with a robust toolkit of practical strategies from BA that effectively address depression and guide clients towards a durable recovery. By mastering BA techniques and seamlessly integrating them into their practice, participants will not only elevate their proficiency in engaging and supporting clients but also significantly improve treatment outcomes.

What our learners say

I used to feel stuck helping patients with depression, especially those who seemed glued to the couch and stuck in avoidance. But this handed me tools like Activity Scheduling and the Daily Activity Record, and suddenly, I wasn’t just spinning my wheels anymore. It’s been incredible watching them find their spark again. If you’re tired of guessing what might help, this course is a no-brainer. You’ll laugh, learn, and leave with tools that work!
I work with a lot of patient's with depression, insomnia and chronic pain so I am always looking for solutions that can support each on these problems. To my surprise, BA is one stone that helps with all 3 of these birds. I was able to draw the connection between each issue and see a common solution, BA, for them. I got a great framework for assessment and treatment strategies and more tools for navigating tricky conversations with these folks. I wish I had taken this course so much sooner!
