Led by Hélène Thériault, a recognized expert in coaching within healthcare, this accredited program by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC), and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) redefines how healthcare professionals lead and connect with their patients.

  • Apply a coaching model to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and prevent burnout.

  • Apply a 4-step framework to guide a coaching dialogue and high-impact accountability.

  • List 10 techniques from a 4-step framework that will help you use a coach approach with confidence. 

  • Build high-quality patient-clinician interactions using the 4 guiding principles.

Meet the Facilitator

Hélène Thériault- BScOT, MAdEd, MCC

Hélène Thériault on faculty in the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia where she is a clinical instructor, fieldwork preceptor and offers her Coach Approach seminar to graduating therapists. She is also a certified Total SDI Facilitator and Leadership Circle Profile.

Hélène combines over two decades of experience in the field, her Master of Adult Education, and her highest coaching credential, Master Certified Coach (MCC).

With her proprietary and accredited methodology "Dive Into a Coach Approach®", Hélène trains and certifies healthcare professionals with a holistic framework that combines the best coaching practices, proven leadership skills, strength-based models, and a rich toolkit designed to boost business growth and create lasting results for patients.

In recognition of her commitment to coaching, Hélène was honoured as the 2023 International Coaching Federation (ICF) Emerging Coach Educator.

Assessment & Certification

This training combines flexible online learning (6-8 hours) with a live online workshop, offering practical coaching competencies that yield immediate results. Participants will earn 12 Continued Coaching Education (CCE) credits, vital for coaching credentialing, and receive a customized action plan for immediate implementation. 
  • Accredited for: 1) 12 CCE by International Coaching Federation (ICF),  2) 11 CU by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), 3) 1.2 CEU by American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), 4) 12 CCE's towards the Dive Into a Coach Approach® certification.

    Cancellation Policy

    Send cancellation/refund requests to admin@amphealthcare.ca.

    A 10% cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds requested prior to 1 month before the beginning of the course.

    We cannot issue refunds within 1 month of the start date of the course. 

    AMP Healthcare Education reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient registration.

    AMP Healthcare Education will notify participants of cancellation due to insufficient registration on or before 1 month prior to the start date of any live course.

    AMP Healthcare Education reserves the right to modify, interrupt, change, or cancel the offering due to the presenter no longer being able to present the Workshop, severe weather, power failure, building closures or other special circumstances that are beyond the control of AMP Healthcare Education.

    We will notify participants of any such changes as soon as possible. 

    If the Workshop is cancelled by us due to insufficient registration or other circumstances outside of the control of AMP Healthcare Education, registrants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. It can take 5-10 business days to process the refund once it is issued.

    AMP Healthcare Education will not be responsible for other costs or expenses incurred by registrants as a result of any such changes.
